Mostly an update to tell everyone nothing much has changed. We were off-line for a couple weeks (long story), but things are more or less under control again.
Billy White Shoes doing fine, although a couple of his favorite hidey-holes are starting to get a little small for him.
For example, I have the monitor on a keyboard storage shelf, and Billy likes to hide under there, and swat at the mouse. He still fits in there, but he has to work at it now.
Weather this week has been hot, with highs around 95°F (35°C) or so. But all the kitties insist on spending most of the day outside, anyway.
A quick video, showing Billy White Shoes & Grace O'Malley trading bowls a few mornings ago. They do that almost every morning.

Your kitties aren't alone in the love of the warmth. The Crew will often stay upstairs where it is 10-20 degrees hotter then the basement.

We are glad all is going well. BWS is getting big, isn't he? We were off line too last week. We were hit by a "derecho" and lost power for almost a week.
Great you are all okay! Billy has grown a lot!!! Imagine that a little while ago he was only a wee kitten... You have done an amazing job! Well done!!!
Great update, and glad to hear you are back online again. Isn't it amazing how fast they grow? Pierre used to like to go into the keyboard tray of the desk when he was a kitten. He jams his head in there nostalgically now and then, and I wonder how all of him ever fit in there!

We have no idea why the boys lost weight - we don't measure food around here so the humans just fill up the bowls when they are empty.Both of the boys actually look pretty good, according to the vet, but she was concerned with their weight loss because it was so dramatic. (Our mom is quite envious!) We go back in a month to see what our vet says.
