Purrrring for Maxie, and Iam's foods are messed up again

Hi. Allie here with a couple things.

First off, Maxie is having problems and is going into surgury this morning. He is gonna need all the purrrrsss and good thoughts he can get.

Feel free to use this image -- we grabbed it from the Cat Blogosphere in the first place.

And in a "where have we heard that before" moment, Iam's is recalling a bunch of stinky goodness. This time, supposedly, there is just not enough vatamum B (what ever that is) in the fod, so it looks like at this time it won't actually kill you to eat it. I guess that is progress, at least somewhat.

Check with the FDA or Proctor & Gamble for the details if you are getting Iam's foods.

Better they immediately acknowledge a lack than hide a poison. We applaud IAMS for mentioning it quick. We don't happen ta eat IAMS, so we dont have a direct concern.

Frankly I am just to nervous to buy IAMS - I shouldn't care for this to strike even a third time. Thanks for letting us know!

We are purring hard for Maxie!!

We're also not surprised about IAMS having recall issues - but we agree with Ayla & Iza, it's better that they acknowledge the problem, than hiding it. We haven't eaten IAMS for years (since before the 2007 recall), so we're not terribly concerned either.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome for Simon & have a happy Monday (almost Tuesday)!!
