But, dang...
Max, an orange tabby, looks and acts like any normal cat. He grooms himself, tries to get attention from humans, and in general, is a curious cat. And he rules the roost at the Best Friends Animal Clinic in Oregon.
But up close, people who meet Max see that this cat is a bit different. He was born without eyes and teeth.
Max lives in Oregon, and seems almost disturbingly happy.

You know, as Georgia goes through the process of dying, she too is almost disturbingly happy. It's too bad humans don't take those handicaps in stride. What a great post.
Wow! That is totally amazing. I would never have imagined that could happen. I am glad teh cat is happy, though, otherwise it would be very sad.

The Big Thing says there are beins who cant see too an live well. So maybe we can unnerstand a kitty who cant see. But we are kinna amazed.
The Big Thing says you get used to what you can sense. What does he know? I do specifically. When I was a kitten, my eyes were glued shut from a eyes infection an I hada smel my way aroun. It was fixed.
So at least I have hint. But still...
Mostly, we are happy that kitty is happy. That is the important thing.

Thanks you for the note. Luna I know its so embaressings to have pee problems, it almosts gots me cage bound! yikes ...
Wowie, that's amazing! He is such a great little kitty, and it sounds like he has a happy life.
Thankies so much fur your purrs for my sistur Brainball -- she is doin' a lot bettur today, eatin' bettur and Brainballin' around and doin' her Alpha Cat patrols (YAY!); she's also gettin' in more naps, though, which is good. Momma thinks she still needs some more good bathroom trips before she feels 100%. But she's much bettur and Momma will keep an eye on her to make sure she keeps gettin' bettur or else she still might have to go to the v.e.t.
Kittyhugs and purrs from MaoMao!
I, too, found a kitten that was born without eyes and oddly enough, he has teeth but they are all crooked! I named him Peek-a-Boo and he is now 4 and the most playful guy there could be...his best buddy is a rat terrier and they have "wrestling matches" which you can imagine is very comical! How cute it would be if Peek-a-Boo and Max lived in the same home.
