Back from the V*T

Gracie spent most of the night tucked away someplace sleeping off the drugs.  About dawn she climbed up in the bed and cuddled with me until the alarm went off.  She seems a little sore, but is moving around OK.  The stitches are to be removed in about 10 days, if she hasn't pulled them out herself by then.  (Anne Bonny saved herself the trip by doing exactly that)

On the stray kitten front, I had a jar of baby food that I had no other use for, so I mixed that in with the Kitten Glop.  Figured stray kitten could use the extra protein, and it might start getting him used to the taste of solid food a little.  I tried letting him decide when he was hungry, but it looks like he wants fed anytime I try to cuddle or play with him, so I'm not sure I've gained that much.  But he is eating, and eating well.

with the baby food, just make sure to read the ingredients to be sure there are no onions in it. Glad he is eating well for you....

So glad Gracie is doing well. Truffle's vet used internal stitches so she didn't have to go back to have them removed.

Gracie's look says "what happened to me?". We're purring for the little kitten, too.

Hurray! Well done Grace, looks like you came through the op well and we hope recover well.

Very glad that the tiny one is eating well again. Here's hoping the weeks fly by to the time he can get onto solid food and you can get a little break!

Great news little baby kitten is eating well! My cat's full name is Vicente, Nisse, Xurxo, Alfonso, sort de la sombra del castillo Garapatas.

Vicente after the boss where I used to work, as he was saved by Alfonso. Nisse as he is a Nisse, Xurxo was the original idea to call him as it is galician for jorge (schurshoo is the pronounciation), Alfonso already mentioned, Sort is catalan for Luck, and he was found in the shadow of a castle and garapatas as he is Spanish must have 2 last names and he did have a TICK walking on him as a wee kitten.
