The traditional 'last gasp' of winter is upon us

Grace O'Malley checking things out outside.
If you look close, I think there is a robin flying /landing in that bush.

Weather Underground says we have a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening.

yuck!!

PS: In somewhat related news, a prosecutor in Ohio has indicted Punxsutawney Phil for fraud, and is seeking the death penalty.

We like your PS comment. But poor Phil. Even with all their fancy up-to-date equipment, weather folk can't give an accurate forecast either. :)

Hope it melts soon. It has "warmed" up here enough today, we have the back door open to try to "warm" the house up. But Jan is still having to wear several layers of clothes to survive.

My gosh it looks cold there. We hope you see the sun soon.

We are in the middle of a big drought and have fingers crossed for rain, but you can keep the snow.

Thank you for your kind words on the passing of our dear boy Eric. The messages of condolence from so many are helping us more than we thought possible.

I love how the global warming doom-meisters suddenly started calling it climate change when the sun went on extended personal leave.
